TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
1 Will not operate Are the power supply and telephone line
cords plugged into the DAS-204 and the
appropriate power/telephone jacks of
your residence/business?
2 LED indicator lights are off Is the phone line cord or power supply
properly plugged in?
3 Cannot turn on ANSWER key Have you recorded an outgoing message
(A1/A2)?
4 Will not record the incoming Is Answer Only (A2) on?
message Is your memory full? The DAS-204 will
record up to 40 minutes of messages.
5 Cannot operate remote Is your security code correct?

6 Cannot play the current time Does clock need to be set or reset?
7 Message playback too loud Adjust volume control at side of unit to
or difficult to hear desired level.
8 LED indicates “88” or number Unplug unit, remove battery, and
of keys will not operate plug it back in. This resets the DAS-204.
9 OGM1 and OGM2 are erased Back-up battery power low or absent.
Replace with a fresh battery.
