SETTINGS
10. MENU UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD
You can save the settings onto a CompactFlash card. Also,
you can load settings saved on CompactFlash cards to the
DVR.
z Do not turn the power OFF when saving/loading menu
items to/from a CompactFlash card.
z Confirm that the light on the CompactFlash card reader
is lit before using the card reader with the USB port. If
the card reader is used before the light is lit, SAVE and
LOAD may not be available.
z After saving the settings to a CompactFlash card, you
may not be able to repeat the operation. If this problem
occurs, redo the operation after ejecting and reinserting
the CompactFlash card.
z At least 4 KB of available memory space is needed on
the CompactFlash card.
z For the recommended CompactFlash card reader, see
our website at “www.sanyosecurity.com”.
You will need a CompactFlash card reader and
CompactFlash card (commercially available).
If “COPY MIRRORING SETTINGS” is set to “YES”, the
hard disk may be initialized. If you don’t want to initialize the
hard disk, select “NO”.

Press the [MENU] button.
The [MENU] button lights, and the <MAIN MENU>
screen is displayed.

Select “9. MENU UPLOAD/
DOWNLOAD”, and press the [ ]
button.
The <MENU UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD> screen is
displayed.

(1) SAVE MENUS TO CF
Saves the settings to CompactFlash
card.

CF
Reads the settings saved on
CompactFlash card.

COPY MIRRORING
SETTINGS
Sets whether to apply “MIRRORING
ON/OFF” setting saved on
CompactFlash card when “LOAD
MENUS FROM CF” is selected.
(4) FORMAT CF Initializes CompactFlash card.
