Protecting Images/Video Clips/Audio Files
Set the data to read-only to prevent files from being deleted by mistake.
Protecting One File
1. Press the button.
2. Select the file you wish to protect with the
e ( ) / f (O) buttons.
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Select [Protect] with the
c
(
MODE
) /
d
(
MENU
)
buttons and press the button.
5. Select [Single] with the
c
(
MODE
) /
d
(
MENU
)
buttons, and press the button.
The selected file is protected.
To cancel protection, perform step 1 to 5 again.
Protecting All Files
1. Select [All] from the Protect menu and press the button.
2. Select [Lock] with the
c
(
MODE
) /
d
(
MENU
)
buttons, and press the button.
All stored files are protected.
To cancel all protection, perform the above steps and select [Unlock] in step 2.
To cancel protection for one specific file, perform above step 1 to 5 of
"Protecting One File".
The protect icon A is displayed with protected files.
Formatting an SD/SDHC memory card overrides protection, and deletes all files regardless of
their protected status.
