292. Your Phone’s Settings
Tip: You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece volume
during a call) by using the Side Volume key.
To adjust the application volume:
This setting is available to adjust the volume for downloaded data and
the browser.
1. Select > Settings > Sounds > Application Vol.
2. Press , select a volume level by pressing the navigation key
up or down, and press .
Alert Notification
Your phone can alert you with an audible tone when you change
service areas, once a minute during a voice call, or when a call has
been connected.
To set alerts:
1. Select > Settings > Sounds > Alerts.
2. Select your desired option and press .
Service sets an alert to notify you of network services
parameter changes.
Voicemail sets an alert to notify you of voice messages.
Messaging sets an alert to notify you of text or picture
messages.
Minute Beep sets a minute reminder that beeps ten seconds
before the end of each minute during a call.
Signal Fade sets an alert to notify you when your phone loses
a signal during a call.
3. Use your navigation key to select a setting and press .
