Setting

This function is used to reset the Lamp replace counter. When

replacing the projection lamp, reset the Lamp replace counter by

using this function. See page 48 for operation.

Factory default

This function returns all setting values except for the lamp counter to

the factory default settings.

[Yes] , and the next

box appears.

Select [Yes] to

activate it.

This function allows you to change brightness of the screen.

Auto···· the controlled brightness according to the input

signal

Eco1····

the controlled brightness according to the ambient

light

Eco2···· 80% lower brightness than normal brightness and

reduces the lamp power consumption.

Normal···· normal brightness

NOTE:

● You can also select a lamp mode with the LAMP CONTROL button on the remote

control. (p 20)

For reducing power consumption as well as maintaining the lamp life,

the Power management function turns off the projection lamp when

the input signal is interrupted and no button is pressed for a certain

period.

When the input signal is interrupted and no button is pressed for 30

seconds or more, the timer display with "No signal" message appears

on the screen to start the countdown.

The following operation differs according to the selected mode.

Ready . . . . . . . .When the count-down time has elapsed, the lamp

will be turned off and the POWER indicator slowly

blinks green. When any signal is connected or

any button on the remote control or the front

panel is pressed, the projection lamp will be

turned on again.

Shut down . . . . . When the count-down time has elapsed, the lamp

will be turned off and the POWER indicator emits

orange light. When the lamp has been fully

cooled down, the power will be turned off.

Off . . . . . . . . . . . Power management function is off.

This arrow indicates that there are previous

items. Select this item and press the Point

Up button to go to the previous item.
