Safety Precautions
When using the LCD Display
TheDisplayisdesignedtooperateon220-240VAC,50/60Hz.
Do not cover the ventilation holes.
•DoingsomaycausetheDisplaytooverheat,whichcancausereordamagetotheDisplay.
Do not stick any foreign objects into the Display.
•DonotinsertanymetalorammableobjectsintotheventilationsholesordropthemontotheDisplay,asdoingso
cancausereorelectricshock.
Do not remove the cover or modify it in any way.
•HighvoltageswhichcancausesevereelectricshocksarepresentinsidetheDisplay.Foranyinspection,adjustment
andrepairwork,pleasecontactyourlocaldealer.
Ensure that the mains plug is easily accessible.
An apparatus with CLASS I construction shall be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
Do not use any power supply cord other than that provided with this unit.
•Doingsomaycausereorelectricshocks.
Securely insert the power supply plug as far as it will go.
•Iftheplugisnotfullyinserted,heatmaybegeneratedwhichcouldcausere.Iftheplugisdamagedorthewall
socketisloose,theyshallnotbeused.
Do not handle the power supply plug with wet hands.
•Doingsomaycauseelectricshocks.
Donotdoanythingthatmaydamagethepowercable.Whendisconnectingthepowercable,pullontheplugbody,notthecable.
•Donotdamagethecable,makeanymodicationstoit,placeheavyobjectsontopofit,heatit,placeitnearany
hotobjects,twistit,benditexcessivelyorpullit.Todosomaycausereandelectricshock.Ifthepowercableis
damaged,haveitrepairedatyourlocaldealer.
IftheDisplayisnotgoingtobeusedforanyprolongedlengthoftime,unplugthepowersupplyplugfrom
the wall outlet.
Topreventthespreadofre,keepcandlesorotheropenamesawayfromthisproductatalltimes.
If problems occur during use
Ifaproblemoccurs(suchasnopictureornosound),orifsmokeoranabnormalodourstartstocomeout
fromtheDisplay,immediatelyunplugthepowersupplyplugfromthewalloutlet.
•IfyoucontinuetousetheDisplayinthiscondition,reorelectricshockcouldresult.Aftercheckingthatthesmoke
hasstopped,contactyourlocaldealersothatthenecessaryrepairscanbemade.RepairingtheDisplayyourself
isextremelydangerous,andshallneverbedone.
IfwaterorforeignobjectsgetinsidetheDisplay,iftheDisplayisdropped,orifthecabinetbecomesdamages,
disconnect the power supply plug immediately.
•
Ashortcircuitmayoccur,whichcouldcausere.Contactyourlocaldealerforanyrepairsthatneedtobemade.
